Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1260762A2] The device has a reflector (2), a light source (3), a lens (6), a fixed main beam stop (4) between source and lens and a movable stop (5) pivotable into the beam for a dipped beam that is joined to the main beam stop by a bearing (12). The bearing consists of a plastic bearing element molded onto the metal main beam stop and a plastic bearing sleeve molded onto the metal movable stop and designed to fit onto the bearing element.
