Abstract (en)

The hood (10) for a jacket has an exterior envelope (14) of flexible cloth with an inner tube (16) for a draw cord (18). The hood has a pair of side windows (20a,b) of transparent plastic at eye level for the user, formed in cut outs at the right and left of the hood and extending between the tube and the front edges of the hood to allow deployment of the windows without creasing.

Une surveste est équipée d'une capuche 10 ayant une enveloppe extérieure 14 en tissu souple, et dotée d'un coulisseau 16 interne pour le passage d'un cordon de serrage 18 destiné à adapter la capuche 10 à la tête de l'utilisateur. Pour élargir le champ de vision latéral, la capuche 10 comporte une paire de fenêtres 20a, 20b agencées dans des découpes à droite et à gauche de l'enveloppe 14 en s'étendant entre le coulisseau 16 et les bords 24a, 24b antérieurs de la capuche 10. Les fenêtres 20a, 20b sont en matière plastique transparente, notamment du polyuréthane, et restent déployées indépendamment du degré de serrage de la capuche 10. <IMAGE>
