Abstract (en)

The packaging for a chicken has a tray (1) with sidewalls (2-5) having a lesser height than the chicken. One sidewall (5) has an extension to form a strap (15) to receive the upper part of the bird and its outer surface forms an information carrier. The sidewall extends in the direction of the opposite wall (4) as far as the rear part of the bird. The strap has an internal cut out (40) to fit the birds breastbone.
