Abstract (en)
The envelope may be of any usual shape or format, and the opening system may also be adapted to envelopes of unusual shapes. The cord may be glued in place inside the envelope, and the free loop may be placed in an advantageous position either for a right-handed and a left-handed user. A sharp pull on the cord cuts through the paper and opens the envelope.

Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf ein Schnell-Aufreiss-System des Briefumschlages, aller Formate, welches das Oeffnen eines Umschlages erleichtert. Dieses System besteht aus einer perforierten Aufreiss-Lasche rechts und links des Briefumschlages (für Rechts- und Linkshänder) und des eingeklebten Fadens aus Kunststoff oder Baumwolle. <IMAGE>
