The device has screening and at least two contact elements (4) screened by screening plates (3) arranged on blade (1) and spring strips. The contact elements are mounted in parallel rows (5a-5d) in the strips. Die Erfindung betrifft eine Steckverbindung mit Abschirmung, vorzugsweise aus Messer- und Federleiste bestehend, mit mehreren Kontaktelementen (4; 41) die zumindest paarweise mit Abschirmungen in Form von Abschirmblechen (3; 31) versehen sind. Die Kontaktelemente (4; 41) sind in mehreren parallelen Reihen angeordnet. Die Abschirmbleche (3; 31) umgreifen zwei oder mehrere Kontaktelemente (4; 41) aus mindestens zwei Reihen (5a, 5b, 5c, 5d). Damit ist das miteinander Verbinden zweier Steckverbinder im 90° Winkel zueinander bzw. das Aufstecken von zwei Seiten her auf eine Leiterplatte (6) ermöglicht. <IMAGE>
