Abstract (en)

[origin: WO0153189A2] The invention relates to a ring lift crane comprising a ring which can be elevated, which has several segments that can be interconnected and which forms a circular track, within which a chassis is positioned. Said chassis has a revolving superstructure rotatably connected thereto, which is provided with several winches. The revolving superstructure has one adapter in each of its two opposite end sections and said adapters are supported on the circular track in a rolling manner by means of rollers that are located in the end area of the adapter. The centre of the ring or chassis forms the rotational axis. The rear adapter is configured for receiving a counter-weight and the front adapter is configured for receiving an articulated arm having at least one main arm in the form of a lattice mast. Elements for generating the rotational movement of the ring lift crane are provided and the chassis is joined to various sections of the ring using reinforcing struts. On at least one component of the lattice mast a lateral reinforcement which extends at least over half the length of the respective lattice mast component is provided.
