[origin: WO0161273A1] Disclosed is a rotary pivoting device for the probes (4) of coordinate measuring devices, comprising at least two hinges (14, 15) for angular orientation of said probes, in addition to a correction unit (22) wherein at least the position of the axes of rotation (aA, aB) of the hinges and deviations in the angular position of said hinges can be corrected. The correction process is simplified by correcting the above-mentioned errors with the aid of a common mathematical model.
