[origin: DE10011531A1] In a process to take samples of gas arising from the production of coke from coal, a heated sampling line (2) is connected to a heated electro-filter (3) which is protected from condensation. The gas filter (3) feeds in turn a cooler (7) and a gas analysis unit (9). A gas pump (8) is positioned between the cooler (7) and analysis unit (9). A an electrically-heated filter wadding (5) is located after the electrical heater (3). A solvent-filled trap (6') is located before the gas saturator (6) which is filled with an organic solvent especially decalin. The electrical filter rests on a cone. Also claimed is a method for analysis of gases containing aerosol impurities.
