[origin: EP1264686A1] The printing mechanism includes a first platen cylinder (1) to print one side of a web (10), and a first inking mechanism (4) with inking rolls (3), movable between a working position with at least one of the inking rolls contacting the first platen cylinder, and a rest position with no rolls in contact with it. The mechanism includes a platen handling device (9) which can move to the working position of the inking mechanism when this mechanism is in its rest position.
