[origin: EP1264750A1] The secondary suspension system includes a secondary shock absorber in the form of a cylinder-piston unit (1) with cylinder (2) and piston (3). The cylinder is fixed to the bogie and the piston with piston rod (4) on one side is pivoted to the wagon box (12). The stroke space of the cylinder-piston unit is connected by a hydraulic line (5) to a second such unit (6) acting with a coil spring (9).
