Abstract (en)
The metal wire is preferably made of copper with a flattened rectangular cross-section with first sections (4a,4b) in which the long axis of the cross-section runs in a defined plane alternating with second sections (4c) in which the long axis of the cross-section is perpendicular to this. Sections of approximately square cross-section are arranged between the first and second sections. AN Independent claim is also included for the following: a winding for transformers with a metal wire.
