Abstract (en)
The composite dielectric resonator according to the invention (a "semi-lumped resonator") comprises a first transmission line (TL1), a capacitive element (C) and possibly a second transmission line (TL4), as well as at least one port for coupling to external circuits. The first transmission line comprises a first dielectric material (103,106), and the capacitive element comprises a second dielectric material (110), the second dielectric material having a magnitude of temperature coefficient of permittivity smaller than the one of the first dielectric material. Additionally to the first and possibly the second transmission line, a third transmission line (TL2), and fourth transmission line (TL3), both comprising a dielectric material (112) with a low permittivity can be present, the first transmission line (TL1), the third transmission line (TL2), the capacitor, the fourth transmission line (TL3), and possibly the second transmission line (TL4) being connected in series. <IMAGE> <IMAGE>
