Die Erfindung betrifft eine Ernährungssonde für die enterale Ernährung eines Patienten mit einem Tubus mit einem proximalen Ende und einem distalen Ende und einem durchgängig im Tubus zwischen proximalem und distalem Ende ausgebildeten Lumen, wobei im Bereich des distalen Endes des Tubus umfangsseitige Austrittsöffnungen zum Austritt der über das proximale Ende in das Lumen des Tubus eingeführten Ernährungslösung ausgebildet sind und zwischen den umfangsseitigen Austrittsöffnungen und dem distalen Ende des Tubus ein öffnungsfreier Führungsabschnitt F einer Länge L ausgebildet ist, der größer ist als der Durchmesser D des Darms, in welchen das distale Ende der Ernährungssonde eingeführt ist. Des weiteren wird eine Magensonde beschrieben, die in Verbindung mit der Ernährungssonde zur gastralen Dekompression eingesetzt wird. <IMAGE>
