Abstract (en)
The awning, with articulated arms, has a carrier profile (1) over the awning length (L). The articulated arms (6) are mounted at the carrier profile by holders (5), which swing around axes (C) at right angles to the profile axis (A), and at an adjustable angle around an axis parallel to the profile axis. When the awning is retracted, the arms are wholly contained within an enclosed awning box. At least one spring (11) is linked to the arms and the profile, with rotation at the profile end around an axis parallel to the profile axis.

Eine Gelenkarmmarkise weist ein sich über die Markisenlänge (L) erstreckendes Tragprofil (1) und Gelenkarme (6) auf, die mit Hilfe von Gelenkarmhaltern (5) am Tragprofil (1) um eine zur Profilachse (A) etwa senkrechte Schwenkachse (C) angelenkt sind und deren Neigung relativ zum Tragprofil (1) um eine zur Profilachse (A) etwa parallele Achse verstellbar ist. Die Markise bildet im eingefahrenen Zustand einen im wesentlichen geschlossenen, die Gelenkarme (6) vollständig aufnehmenden Markisenkasten. Es ist mindestens ein Federelement (11) vorgesehen, das einerseits an einem Gelenkarm (6) und andererseits am Tragprofil (1) angelenkt ist und das an seinem profilseitigen Ende um eine zur Profilachse (A) parallele Achse drehbar ist. <IMAGE>
