The cable, for the transmission of electrical signals, comprises a core of at least two adjacent and insulated strands (1,2), an inner mantle (4) which can be removed easily from the strands, a screen and an outer mantle (8). The barrier material comprises a cladding (3) on the outer surface of each strand of insulation (1a,2a). The screen is composed of a metal foil (5) against the inner mantle, shrouded by a braiding (6) of a number of metal wires in turn covered by a second metal foil layer (7). The barrier is a layer of wax or a fibrous nonwoven material.

Es wird ein Kabel zur Übertragung von elektrischen Signalen beschrieben mit a) einer Kabelseele, welche zumindest zwei nebeneinander liegende mit einer Aderisolierung versehene Adern aufweist, b) einem Innenmantel, welcher von der Kabelseele leicht entfernbar ist, c) einem Schirm sowie, d) einem äußeren Kabelmantel. Bei einem solchen Kabel weist die Oberfläche jeder Aderisolierung (1a,2a) eine Beschichtung (3) aus einem Trennmittel auf. Der Schirm besteht aus einer ersten auf dem Innenmantel (4) aufliegenden Metallfolie (5), einer die Metallfolie (5) umgebende Verseillage (6)aus einer Vielzahl von Metalldrähten sowie einer auf der Verseillage (6) liegenden Metallfolie (7). <IMAGE>
