Abstract (en)
The device is used to adjust the distance between a first stationary contact and a second contact (1) which is movable relative to the first by at least the usual contact spacing for actuation. The second contact (1) is held in a movable component (2) so as to be axially movable at first. It is then permanently fixed in the movable component (2) when the movable component (2) is moved from a rest position by the predetermined contact distance to an operating position at the first contact. Preferably the second contact has a polygonal cross section and is held in a matching polygonal recess in the movable component (2). By rotation about the longitudinal axis under plastic deformation of the contact and/or the component, the contact can then be axially fixed in the component.

Ein Verfahren zur Einstellung einer elektrischen Schaltanordnung mit einem Paar elektrischer Kontakte auf einen vorbestimmten Kontaktabstand, bei dem ein erster Kontakt (1") axial unverschieblich auf einem dem ersten Kontakt (1") zugeordneten beweglichen Bauteil (2) gehalten und ein zweiter Kontakt auf einem dem zweiten Kontakt zugeordneten Bauteil (5) angeordnet ist, weist folgende Schritte auf: (i) die Bauteile werden relativ zueinander über den vorbestimmten Kontaktabstand aufeinander zu bewegt; (ii) der den ersten Kontakt (1") haltende Bereich (4) oder ein plastisch verformbarer Bereich (6) an dem dem zweiten Kontakt zugeordneter Bauteil (5) wird bis zum physikalischen Kontakt der beiden Kontakte plastisch verformt. <IMAGE>
