Abstract (en)
At a distance from a combustion chamber, an insulator (3) stretches along the axis (25) of a spark plug (10) as far as the end (30) of a casing (15) as a maximum. It also stops short of the end at the same distance. The casing locks with a fastening device (2) that forms a hexagon (45) and has a slot for engaging a tool. A sealing ring (50) holds the insulator.

Es wird eine Zündkerze (10) vorgeschlagen, die eine erhebliche Bauraumreduzierung ermöglicht. Die Zündkerze (10) umfasst ein rohrförmiges metallisches Gehäuse (15) und einen darin eingebetteten Isolator (3).
