[origin: WO0170083A1] An apparatus for displaying paper, fabric, photographs or the like, comprises a long, narrow strip (61) of thin ferromagnetic spring steel, and a number a small tracks embedded with rare earth magnets or other magnets. A tape-like dispenser stores unused tacks and a portion of the strip (61) that has not yet been used. The strip (61) of spring steel is covered on one face by a strong adhesive (62). The adhesive (62) side, when the strip (61) has not been used, is covered by a protective layer (63), such as wax paper. The spring steel (61) is rolled up inside the dispenser. The strip (61) may be divided at regular intervals by a cut through the protective layer (63) and the adhesive layer (62), the cut line scoring the spring steel (61).
