Abstract (en)

[origin: WO0175064A2] The invention provides novel polynucleotides and polypeptides encoded by such polynucleotides and mutants or variants thereof that correspond to novel human secreted IGFBP-like polypeptides. These polynucloetides comprise nucleic acid sequences isolated from cDNA library from adrenal gland mRNA (Clontech) (SEQ ID NO:1) and thymus mRNA (Clontech) (SEQ ID NO: 2). Other aspects of the invention include vectors containing processes for producing novel human secreted IGFBP-like polypeptides, and antibodies specific for such polypeptides.
