Abstract (en)

[origin: WO0172874A1] Disclosed are stable aqueous polymer emulsions comprising constituents A - C, water and optionally auxiliary agents and additives, wherein constituent C is formed by polyolefin oxydates containing carboxyl and ester groups in particular; constituent D is formed by aminofunctional polyorganosiloxanes; component E consists of non-ionic emulsifiers. Preferably, the polymer emulsions also contain fatty acid condensation products comprising 5 -150 mol % amino alcohols per mol of fatty acid and 5 - 200 mol % polyolene (constituent D) per mol of fatty acid and at least partially quaternated fatty acid condensation products comprising 0.35 3.5 mol tertiary amino alcohols quaternated with quaternating agents of formula X-R<14> per mol of fatty acid, in which formula X is a cleavable radical in the form of an anion and R<14> is a low alkyl radical. The invention also relates to a method for advantageous production of the inventive polymer emulsions and the use thereof as auxiliary agents in high-grade textile finishes, especially as softeners, smoothing agents and in order to improve sewing behaviour.
