[origin: DE10009861A1] The method involves storing current and voltage pairs for loss-minimizing operation in a controller, measuring the current is, reading corresponding voltage out, measuring the motor terminal voltage and driving the three-phase voltage setting device via the controller so that the generated voltage measured at the motor terminals is identical to the voltage value of a loss-minimizing value pair. The method involves the use of a voltage controller with a three-phase voltage setting device, a current measurement device and a control device. Corresponding current and voltage pairs for loss-minimizing operation are stored in the controller, the current is measured, the corresponding voltage is read out, the motor terminal voltage is measured and the three-phase voltage setting device is driven via the controller so that the generated voltage measured at the motor terminals is identical to the voltage value of a loss-minimizing value pair. Independent claims are also included for the following: an arrangement for implementing the method.
