Abstract (en)
[origin: FR2806231A1] The system uses a digital watermark which may include scrambled information indicating permitted users or permitted services able to decode image data. The process provides information transmission with access control, the information being transformed into digital format and scrambled for transmission with access control information. The access control information is inserted in the form of a digital watermark which contains a digital watermark identifier, the length of the digital watermark, and descriptors for the access conditions. The watermark may also include the following information: a limited number of uses of the data, a booking directed to a unique user, a booking for a particular service which is authorised to receive the data, a limited number of uses and exclusivity for one user, and a limited number of uses and exclusivity for one service.
