Abstract (en)
The escalator warning system is for an escalated with a number of steps (3), each of which has a step surface (3.1) and a front surface (3.2). An element (9) serving as a light guide is fitted to at least part of the front surface. A light beam is transmitted via the light guide from a light source to indicate the danger zone.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Fahrtreppe (1) mit einem Stufenband (2), das eine Mehrzahl von Treppenstufen (3) aufweist, welche jeweils eine Trittfläche (3.1) und eine Frontfläche (3.2) aufweisen, wobei auf mindestens einem Teil der Frontfläche (3.2) ein als Lichtleiter dienendes Bauelement (9) angeordnet ist, wobei das Bauelement (9) das von einer Lichtquelle (7) erzeugte Licht aussendet. Es wird somit in einfacher Weise auf eine mögliche Gefahrenzone hingewiesen. <IMAGE> <IMAGE>
