Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1270824A2] The method involves making a wall from individual piles (26) joined along their longitudinal edges with a movable pile guide (24,28,30,44) that guides the piles. The pile guide has a GPS (Global Positioning System) for control purposes to enable under water assembly without the use of divers. The GPS has a satellite-supported positioning part (58,60) and an inclinometer chain. Independent claims are also included for the following:- an arrangement for constructing a wall under water and a pile guide with a global positioning system.
