The device has a rotary body (3) that is rotatably mounted with its end surfaces (6,7) having incident flow and outflow sectors for passage through the rotor body during a rotation and that is made of a material matrix consisting of foils, between which are formed flow channels passing axially through the body. The flow channels have a triangular or higher order polygonal cross-section.

Ein Rotorwärmetauscher hat einen Drehkörper (3), der drehbar gelagert ist, dessen Stirnfläche (6, 7) einen Anström- (6) und einen Abströmsektor (7) aufweist, die der Drehkörper (3) bei einer Drehung durchläuft, und der aus einer Werkstoffmatrix ausgebildet ist, die aus Folien besteht, zwischen denen den Drehkörper (3) axial durchsetzende Strömungskanäle gebildet sind. Zur Verbesserung des Wirkungsgrads des Rotorwärmetauschers weisen die Strömungskanäle einen drei- oder mehreckigen Strömungsquerschnitt auf. <IMAGE>
