[origin: EP1271702A2] The socket consists of two separate stamped bent components (1,2) that are put together. The first component (1) includes a mechanical connecting device (14,15), and the second component includes a plug receptacle and a cable connecting part. The plug receptacle may be formed as a spring socket extending parallel to the plug-in direction, especially in the form of a cylinder with square cross-section and open ends. <??>An Independent claim is also included for an electrical connector socket.
