Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1273324A1] The binding has a sensor (7) to determine incidents generated by the boot in the binding, and an evaluator for these incidents. If an incident occurs, which exceeds pre-set or pre-calculated limits, the connection between boot and ski is released. The connection is disconnected by simultaneous release of all holder devices (8,15) of the safety binding. All forces and accelerations caused by the boot in the binding are determined and evaluated in a micro control unit, which releases the holders.
