Abstract (en)

[origin: WO0164550A1] The invention relates to the storage of gas and can be used in medicine, for home chemicals, for fire engineering, in perfumery, as a gas source for gas-filled articles, etc. The invention makes it possible to simplify and speed-up processes for creating overpressure in aerosols and other gas-filled articles, and to improve the performance safety thereof. The inventive gas storing capsule comprises a gas-tight body, containing sorbent particles for gas absorption and a sealed outlet. In accordance to the invention, the body also comprises a sorbent-free chamber sufficient for storing a defined quantity of fixed gas in a solid phase. Said body is embodied in such a way that it is possible to fill in the fixed gas in solid phase. The inventive method for filling gas in the capsule consists in placing the sorbent inside the capsule and in sorbitizing gas by said sorbent. The capsule body is capable of retaining the sorbent particles and discharge gas from the capsule. Inside the capsule, there is a sorbent-free chamber for filling with a defined quantity of gas.
