[origin: EP1273691A2] Washing detergent is guided through operating chambers (2) in a reverse direction flow to laundry/items being washed. The working chamber for the treatment stage swivels in reverse around an axis of rotation during the treatment stage. In a washing chamber (8) part of the washing detergent is stored temporarily in a number of scooping pockets (20) fitted between an inner perforated drum wall and an outer wall surrounding it. An Independent claim is also included for a reverse direction flow washing machine with numerous working chambers set up to swivel around an axis of rotation in sequence in a laundry conveyor device.
