Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1273728A2] The device has a pump with a suction aperture at a distance above the base of a sewage tank, and a pressure aperture. A pipe section (12) on the suction aperture (7) has a first sealed end (13) opening into the suction aperture of the pump (1), and a second, free end (15), located closer to the base (9) of the sewage tank (3) than the suction aperture. The pipe section is flexible and consists of an elastomer material, and is e.g. a hose section with a diameter twice the size of its length.
