Double window comprises an inner window pane (10), an outer window pane (12), and a frame holding both window panes. The inner window pane and/or the outer window pane has insulating glazing (14, 16) with at least two insulating panes (14a, 14b, 16a, 16b). Preferred Features: The inner window pane with insulating glazing has a heat transfer coefficient of 0.8-2.8, preferably 1.1-1.3 W/m2K. The inner and outer window panes have different heat transfer coefficients.

Beschrieben wird ein Doppelfenster mit einem inneren Fensterflügel (10), einem äußeren Fensterflügel (12), und mit einem Rahmen, der beide Fensterflügel (10, 12) hält. Der innere Fensterflügel (10) und/oder der äußere Fensterflügel (12) weist eine Isolierverglasung (14, 16) mit jeweils mindestens zwei Isolierscheiben (14a, 14b; 16a, 16b) auf. <IMAGE>
