[origin: EP1273989A1] A link piece transmits the movement of an accelerator pedal plate (1) onto a restoring spring. A sensor generates a signal based on the operation of the accelerator pedal plate (1). A frictional member generates a force hysteresis when the pedal plate is operated. The sensor is a linear distance sensor. A link piece (4) is guided by a perpendicular bent structure (3) formed on a housing (2). The link piece deflects the movement of the pedal plate.
