The invention is characterised in that said cap (2-3-4) is provided, inside, in the entire surface or in at least part of the surface defined by its periphery (4) pleating means (9-10-11; 16) for producing small pleats thereby reshaping the outline of said cap to make it fit the shape of the user's skull.
