[origin: WO0156540A2] The invention concerns a device for applying at least an active principle consisting of a material wherein one or several capsules or microcapsules containing the active principle(s) are distributed in a binder with spongy consistency so that the active principle(s) is/are released when pressure is exerted on the material. The device consists of a first portion (10) and a second portion (12) separated by a tear portion (14), the capsule or a majority of capsules being in the first part proximate to the tear portion, the first portion being detached from the second portion by tearing the tear portion so as to obtain, at the tear site, a surface for applying the active principle(s) located in the first portion when pressure is exerted thereon.
