[origin: WO0181763A1] A pump (1) for gases to be measured has a pump housing (2) in which a pump chamber (3) is located. Said pump chamber is sealed off by a working membrane (5), said membrane (5) being connected to a crank gear (9) by a connecting rod (8) or similar lifting mechanism. A heating device is provided in the upper area of the pump housing, especially in the pump head (10). Heat insulation covering at least the pump head is provided essentially in the form of an insulation housing (13) whose inner wall (15) is set apart from the pump head (10) in order to form a gas insulation layer (14).
