Abstract (en)

[origin: WO0179903A1] The invention concerns an optical switch comprising on a substrate (100), optical means (120), and motoring means (114, 115, 124) co-operating with the optical means to cause them to pivot between an inactive position and at least an active position. The invention is characterised in that the switch comprises first mobile stop means (122), rigidly integral with the optical means (120, 130) so as to be able to pivot with the optical means, and second fixed stop means (128), arranged in a plane substantially parallel to the main surface (110) of the substrate, and co-operating with the first stop means to fix said position of the optical means. The invention is useful for producing optical crossconnects.
