Abstract (en)

The valve for a petrol pump pistol has a housing (1) connected to an outlet stub (2) and a petrol hose (3). A suction recovery pipe (8) is mounted on the nozzle to receiver vapor from the fuel. The pistol valve has a safety cut off which operates when interruption or damage to the suction of the vapor occurs. It disconnects the normal fuel feed through the valve, and allows emergency filling with reduced fuel feed rate.
