Abstract (en)

The protection and retention system for a door or window lock component such as a keeper (11) set in the edge (8) of an opening panel (5) or fixed surrounding frame consists of at least one L-section profile (16) with one side (17) fitted to the frame edge (8) and the other perpendicular side (18) pressing against the lock component on the side nearest the outside of the door or window. A second, blocking profile (19) is fitted in the inside of the protected lock component, and the two profiles are made to run the whole length of the frame.

L'invention a trait à un dispositif de protection et de retenue, en particulier d'éléments de verrouillage (10), tels que des gâches (11) ou similaires, rapportés sur le chant (8, 21) en feuillure d'un vantail (5) ou d'un cadre dormant (20) de porte, fenêtre ou similaire (4). Ce dispositif est caractérisé par le fait qu'il consiste en au moins un profilé en équerre (16) comportant une aile (17) prévue apte à être rapportée sur ledit chant (8, 21) du vantail (5) ou du cadre dormant (20) et une aile (18) qui lui est perpendiculaire et qui est définie à même de prendre appui, du côté externe de la porte ou fenêtre, contre le ou lesdits éléments de verrouillage (10). <IMAGE>
