Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1275845A2] The pump incorporates a fastener, e.g. a screw (58) to hold the cylinder head (14) with its ring-shaped contact face (44) on the cylinder (12). The contact face and the active area (64) of the screw on the cylinder head are mainly located on the same level, as seen in longitudinal direction of the cylinder. The screw is clamped between a ring-shaped fastener part (52) and the cylinder head. The fastener ring has a fastener flange (69) to connect the fuel pump to a housing (26) in the engine.
