[origin: EP1275923A2] Stacking device (10) for forming stacks of stackable products comprises a number of protrusions (12, 12') on a main surface of a base plate (11) which form bearing points or bearing surfaces (13, 13') for the stackable products. Intermediate spaces (14) forming air flow channels are provided between the protrusions in the longitudinal and transverse directions. Preferred Features: The protrusions taper from the base plate toward the bearing point/surface. The stacking device is made of plastic or metal, e.g. stainless steel or a light metal alloy, or wood. The stacking device is made of an embossed or deep-drawn foil or sheet.
