Abstract (en)
Annular chamber furnace (1) used for producing carbon-containing moldings, especially electrodes for aluminum electrolysis in the dry way, comprises two parallel rows of combustion chambers in tank constructions (2a, 2b) having outer walls (3a, 3b) separated from each other by a divider (100). The tank constructions have an at least partly modular construction and the dividers contain two parallel inner walls (4a, 4b) arranged a distance apart and defining an intermediate space (101). The inner walls are formed by prefabricated inner wall elements made of or containing a concrete material which are arranged on the foundation (6), a base or base elements. An Independent claim is also included for a process for manufacturing the above annular chamber furnace. Preferred Features: A central longitudinal shaft (16) is arranged in the foundation or base between and parallel to the inner walls. Cooling channels (7), especially pipelines, running perpendicular to the divider in the foundation or base open toward the central longitudinal axis of the annular chamber furnace into the longitudinal shaft and exit toward the outer side from the foundation or base.

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Ringkammerofen (1) mit zwei parallel verlaufenden Reihen von Brennkammern, welche je in einer Wannenkonstruktion (2a, 2b) angeordnet sind, wobei die beiden Wannenkonstruktionen (2a, 2b) der Brennkammerreihen Aussenwände (3a, 3b) enthalten und durch einen Raumteiler (100) gegenseitig abgegrenzt sind. Der Raumteiler (100) enthält zwei, einen Innenwandzwischenraum (101) ausbildende Innenwände (4a, 4b). Der Ringkammerofen (1) zeichnet sich durch seinen modularen Aufbau mit zu Aussenwänden (3a, 3b) gefügten Aussenwandelementen und zu Innenwänden (4a, 4b) gefügten Innenwandelementen aus. <IMAGE>
