[origin: WO0182669A1] The invention relates to a shielding compartment for shielding a circuit on a printed circuit board, which in its mounted state covers the circuit on said printed circuit board, said shielding compartment opening towards the printed circuit board. The shielding compartment has a plastic shield frame which in its mounted state, is located on the printed circuit board and extends around the circuit to be shielded; and a shield lid which is fixed to said shield frame.
