Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1277673A1] The container (10) has four end posts (105,106) positioned at the corners (100-103) as forcibly connected to the floor (11) and roof (12). In transport the posts can be set normal to roof and floor and can adopt a position parallel to the floor (11) for empty container transport. At the bottom corners the end posts (105,106) have corner fittings (17) to swivel round an axis lying parallel to the floor (11). Where hinged to the roof (12), the posts are held slidably in longways guides and the sides of the container consist of two parts (150,151,160,161) which fold along axes (152,162) parallel to the roof or floor. One endwall (13) is closed by folding or rollshutter door (24) guided in roof or posts.
