Abstract (en)
The present patent application refers to a steam ironing apparatus for steam-assisted ironing of garments and clothing items, which comprises a board provided with a plurality of through-perforations, and constituting the ironing top, as well as a chamber situated below said ironing board and fluid-dynamic means adapted to generate a forced air flow to and from said ironing board, thereby determining a negative or positive pressure value inside the chamber. The fluid-dynamic means are constituted by a first and a second motor, adapted to rotate in opposite directions, and a single fan that is adapted to be selectively driven by said first or said second motor. <IMAGE>
