Abstract (en)

In a paper production de-watering press a paper web (1) passes through a press gap where it is in contact on both sides (2, 3) with a de-watering belt, following which one de-watering belt (2) separates from the web (1). The web (1) and second belt (3) than pass (4) together over a convex guide (5) surface. The convex radius is between 0.3 and 1 m pref. 2-4 m. The curved surface stretches the web and minimises the tendency of the de-watering belt (3) to lift off at the margins. In a preferred embodiment the convex surface is formed pref. by an exhausted drum. Alternatively the convex surface is formed by a series of with segmented sectors separated by ceramic ribs.

Abstract (de)

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Pressenpartie zur Entwässerung einer Papier-, Karton-, Tissue- oder einer anderen Faserstoffbahn (1) in der die Faserstoffbahn (1) gemeinsam mit beidseitig je einem Entwässerungsband (2,3) durch einen Pressspalt läuft und nach dem Pressspalt ein Entwässerungsband (2) von der Faserstoffbahn (1) weggeführt wird. Dabei soll die Führung der Faserstoffbahn (1) dadurch verbessert werden, dass das, die Faserstoffbahn (1) anschließend allein führende Entwässerungsband (3) im Bereich der Führungsstrecke (4) zwischen der Wegführung des anderen Entwässerungsbandes (2) und der Abgabe der Faserstoffbahn (1) an eine nachfolgende Einheit zumindest in einem Abschnitt über wenigstens ein Führungselement (5) zur Faserstoffbahn (1) hin konvex gekrümmt geführt wird. <IMAGE>
