Abstract (en)
Preparation of p-aramid paper includes treatment of p-aramid pulp with an aqueous or alcoholic solution base solution and treatment of the pulp obtained to give p-aramid paper. Preparation of p-aramid paper includes: (a) treatment of p-aramid pulp with an aqueous or alcoholic solution base solution at a temperature higher than 25 degrees C up to the b. pt. of the solution to give a treated pulp; and (b) treatment of the pulp obtained to give p-aramid paper is new. Independent claims are included for: (1) p-aramid paper obtained as above; and (2) p-aramid pulp with a Schopper-Riegler value of 80-85.

Ein Verfahren zur Herstellung von p-Aramid Papier umfassend die Schritte a) Behandlung von p-Aramid Pulpe mit einer wässrigen oder alkoholischen Lösung einer Base in einem Temperaturbereich von > 25 °C bis zum Siedepunkt der Lösung, wodurch eine behandelte Pulpe resultiert, und b) Verarbeitung der behandelten Pulpe zu p-Aramid Papier führt zu einem p-Aramid Papier mit erhöhter Zugfestigkeit.
