Abstract (en)
A textile material or wallpaper (sic) containing 0.01-70 wt.% of at least one antimicrobial polymer, e.g. a mixture of vinyl polymers and antimicrobial polymer is new. Independent claims are included for: (A) a preparation of an antimicrobial textile material or wallpaper (I) from a paper support with an antimicrobial coating; (B) a paper support with a coating comprising an antimicrobial polymer (AMP); (C) production of the coating on the paper support by thermal gelation of plastisol containing an AMP; (D) preparation of the AMP by addition of an AMP to a mixture of paper and/or paper pulp, and/or textiles, and/or cellulose, and/or wood particles, and/or raw fibers, and working of this mixture to give a paper support.
