The cross country pipe/cable laying machine (22) has a center frame (11), fitted with a number of adjustable supports (12,15) which can be set from their vertical alignment. The supports carry slides or rollers (16,19) which ride along the ground (20). A ground working unit (26) is integrated into the machine or is attached to it. A winding drum (21) has a draw hawser (23), anchored (32) into the ground to pull the machine along, or support its forward movement.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Geländefahrgestell (22) mit einem zentralen Rahmen (11) und mit einer Mehrzahl von in ihrer vertikalen Winkelneigung gegenüber dem zentralen Rahmen verstellbaren Abstützungen (12-15), die jeweils mit Gleit- oder Rolleinrichtungen (16-19) versehen sind, zur Abstützung auf einer Bodenfläche, wobei an dem Geländefahrgesell eine Arbeitseinrichtung (26) integriert oder anschließbar ist, und wobei eine Arbeitswinde (21) zum Einholen oder Ausgeben einer Zugtrosse (23) am Geländefahrgestell vorgesehen ist, um die Fortbewegung des Geländefahrgestells zu bewirken oder zumindest zu unterstützen. <IMAGE>
