Abstract (en)
A method is provided of sealing an annular space formed between an outer cylindrical member and an inner cylindrical member extending within the outer cylindrical member, the method comprising positioning a set of annular seal elements in the annular space in a manner that the seal elements are mutually displaced in axial direction of the cylindrical members, and axially moving the seal elements relative to each other in a manner that the seal elements become radially stacked so as to form a set of radially stacked seal elements. <IMAGE>
