The intermediate assembly (1) which is a pressed fit within the watchcase consists of an elastic blocking ring (4) which contains a metallic threaded ring (2). The watchcase base (6) is screwed into the metallic ring using a threaded rim (8,10). If the alignment of any base markings is not satisfactory it may be rotated with complementary motion of first the metallic ring and then the blocking ring after engagement of lug (20). La présente invention concerne un dispositif de fixation d'un fond (6) sur la carrure d'une boîte de montre, le fond (6) présentant un filetage périphérique extérieur (8), ce dispositif étant caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend un ensemble intermédiaire (1) comportant un élément élastique de blocage (4) et un élément métallique (2) concentrique à l'élément élastique de blocage (4), cet ensemble intermédiaire (1) étant engagé à force dans la partie inférieure de la carrure (28) de la montre (26) et le fond étant fixé par vissage sur l'élément métallique (2) de sorte que, lorsque le fond (6) est complètement vissé sur l'élément métallique (2), cet élément métallique (2) peut être pivoté en glissant sur l'élément élastique de blocage (4) jusqu'à un point de butée à partir duquel l'élément élastique de blocage (4) peut pivoter à son tour en glissant sur la carrure (28) de la montre (26), ceci permettant de régler l'alignement du fond (6) par rapport à l'axe vertical 12h-6h de la montre (28). <IMAGE>
